Hoot Communications does many things well. That came about though necessity. Back in the 1980s when Bob Hoot started Hoot Creative, the graphic design studio was small. The clients were weren’t always large and the project budgets seldom were. When illustration was required, Hoot illustrated. When a map was needed, he became a cartographer. When a photograph needed retouching, Hoot became a retoucher.
Just when it seemed there weren’t enough hours in the day to manage staff, design great work, illustrate, meet with clients and administer the business, along came the digital revolution. Hoot had always embraced new technology as increasingly sophisticated tools. He worked with Compugraphic phototype in the mid-1970s and he created on a propriety computer animation system in the early 1980s. In 1990, Apple released the Quadra 900 tower ... a screaming-fast 25 MHz process with 16 MB of RAM (Hoot boosted that to 20 MB ... Whoa!). As employees moved on, Hoot added more computers, processing power, applications and enhanced skills.
Hoot’s great creative work will always be guided by his head, heart and hand. But Hoot’s use of the most current technologies produces a plethora of ideas through the most efficient workflow available. Clients appreciate that. Printers and Web developers appreciate the exacting specification to which files comply.
Hoot Communications offers a breadth of services and a depth of creativity supported by right technologies.
