Cartography
Expert mapping services for your next guide
or as a stand-alone service

Hoot Communications loves making maps and believes that every visitor and/or reader of your publication or guide deserves accurate maps highlighting the locations you want. Maps often include accommodations, restaurants and businesses, as well as primary and secondary roads, parks, city and county borders and waterways. Your destination may have additional assets such as boat landings, wildlife areas, biking and hiking trails, skate parks, race tracks, skating rinks, golf courses, campgrounds and/or lighthouses to name a few.

Hoot Communications provides detailed cartography from GIS information. Hoot works closely with publishers and DMOs to assure the accuracy of the locations of businesses and attractions. It is not enough to depend on Google Maps® or Mapquest® — as valuable as these services are, they are far from pinpoint accurate.

Hoot created the 22 maps for the 2010 Door County Visitors Guide. Hoot has also created maps for Columbia County, Downtown Racine, Kenosha, Downtown Kenosha, Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, The Yellowstone Trail and many more.

If you contract with Hoot Communications to produce your destination visitors guide, Hoot will provide the maps for your next visitors guide at no additional cost because every destination guide should include great maps and information design. Also, Hoot Communications provides cartography as a stand-alone service and would like to bid on your next mapping project.
