Hoot Communications offers training and consulting for publishing, media, printers, agencies and in-house marketing departments. Training programs and workshops, such as Creativity 101, teach collaboration between creative talent and sales associates. Hoot provides expert technical training for color calibration, technical specifications for account personnel, photo calibration and manipulation for designers as well as sales training for full-time salespeople and part-time project sales associates.
Programs may be designed for durations of a half day (3.5 hours) for a seminar, a full day (7 hours) for a workshop and up to two days for multiple seminars, workshops, equipment calibration and evaluation. The time goes fast because the seminars and workshops are fun and informative.
Hoot has been conducting seminars and workshops since 1990 for organizations including Capital Newspapers, Corvallis Gazette-Times, Albany Democrat-Herald, Lebanon Express, University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension, UW-Madison School of Business, Linn-Benton Community College and Madison Area Technical College.
